My name is Saranya Ravva, a Ph.D. student in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University, specializing in Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), and self-sensing materials. My research focuses on developing advanced inverse problem-solving frameworks and finite element methods to recover mechanical states from electrical measurements, with applications spanning aerospace structures, space systems, and smart materials.
When I’m not in the lab or coding in MATLAB, you can find me mentoring fellow undergrad researchers, speaking at Toastmasters, running marathons, or diving into space science and public engagement projects.
